Additional 48,916 COVID-19 cases detected in India
The total number of COVID-19 infections in India stands at 1,336,861, with 48,916 cases detected over the past day, the country’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) reported on Saturday.
Another 757 people lost their lives due to the disease, with the overall death toll climbing to 31,358.
According to data, 849,431 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals throughout the country so far.
