Airbus deliveries in first half fall to 196 planes
Airbus said on Wednesday that its deliveries fell to only 196 aircraft in the first half of the year from 389 in the same period a year earlier.
Deliveries plunged while being heavily impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak which totally stopped the aerospace industry rise and ruined expectations for the next years’ records.
Airbus said there were 365 gross orders for the first half, or 298 net orders after counting in the call-offs.
