Australia not looking to acquire nuclear weapons – Morrison
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison in a press briefing recommitted to advancing ties with the United States and the United Kingdom.
Morrison, alongside British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, took part in a national security event organized by US President Joe Biden’s White House.
“Australia is not seeking to acquire nuclear weapons,” the prime minister noted in his speech, adding that the three nations must “contribute and not take” and “enable and empower, not control or coerce.”
