Brazil reports 39,023 new coronavirus cases

Brazilian health authorities said on Friday testing confirmed 39,023 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday, bringing the overall number of infections to 1,839,850.

Meanwhile, the death toll rose by 1,071 to stand at 71,469 during the same period while there are 1,2 million of reportedly recovered cases.
