Brazil reports lowest daily virus count since May
The latest official data from Brazil’s Ministry of Health revealed just 10,273 new cases of the coronavirus in the country since yesterday, the lowest daily virus count since May 17.
The country’s total now stands at 4,147,794. Meanwhile, the death toll increased by 310 to 126,960 during the same period. The data also showed a total of 3,355,564 have recovered from COVID-19.
Earlier in the day, India surpassed Brazil as the country with the second-largest number of registered COVID-19 infections.
