Brazil’s virus cases halve to 29,026, deaths to 527
Data provided by Brazil’s Health Ministry showed 29,026 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in the country in the past 24 hours, halving compared to the 57,472 infections confirmed the day before.
The nation’s total increases to 10,168,174 once the newly registered cases are added with the virus-related deaths rising by 527 to take the country’s toll to 246,504.
In the meantime, the cumulative number of recoveries from the illness increased to 9,095,483, with 826,187 still hospitalized.
