China alone can’t negate US pressure on Taliban – WH
China, “on its own,” doesn’t “have the capacity” to undermine the United States efforts to apply pressure on the Taliban, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) said on Wednesday.
Asked, during a press conference, whether Beijing can allow the Taliban to enter “the global market,” Psaki stated that “there are more than 100 countries” that share the stance on the group with the US.
“China is going to have to think about what role they want to be seen as having in this moment, as well,” Psaki underlined.
