GOP doesn’t care about US people’s needs – Pelosi
The Republican party showed no willingness to act in the interest of the United States’ citizens, and that is why the negotiations on the fourth installment of the coronavirus relief package haven’t resulted in a deal yet, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (pictured) said on Thursday.
Talking at the press conference, Pelosi stressed that she doesn’t know when the talks will continue and stressed that it will happen only when the Republicans “come to terms with $2 trillion” as the package volume.
She reiterated that the two parties are “miles apart” in their values, and chided the White House’s negotiators as people who have “no relationship to meeting the needs of the American people.”
