Honda’s revenue down 6.8% to $29.9B in Q2

Honda Motor Co. Ltd. unveiled on Friday that its revenue dropped 6.8% in the second quarter of 2022 and came in at ¥3.4 trillion ($29.95 billion).

The company’s third-quarter diluted earnings per share plunged 30.7% on the year to amount to ¥96.56 ($0.85), while its operating profit tumbled 29% to ¥198.9 billion ($1.75 billion).

The Japanese carmaker downsized its yearly profit forecast by 13.7%. Shares of Honda were down by 2.84% at 6:58 am CET.
