Japan to take action to lower gas prices – FinMin
The Japanese government is committed to lowering rising gasoline and fuel prices, Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki (pictured) said.
Suzuki added that Tokyo is also taking all the necessary steps to address the effect of price surges on the economy but noted that it is up to the Bank of Japan (BoJ) to make monetary policy decisions.
