Japan’s unemployment rate at 2.9% in November
Japan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate landed at 2.9% in November, according to a report by the Statistics Bureau of Japan released on Friday. The figure marked a decrease in comparison to the 3.1% reported in October.
The number of unemployed people came in at 19.5 million, increasing by 440,000 compared to the same month last year.
Meanwhile, the figure for persons with employment stood at 67.07 million, marking a drop of 550,000 year-on-year.
