Microsoft’s internal systems accessed in SolarWinds hack
Microsoft Corp. reported on Thursday that the people behind the SolarWinds Inc. hack managed to access its internal systems.
The tech giant stated that it did not appear the attackers used its software to attack other victims, although they did manage to view parts of its source code, used to build software giants.
“We detected unusual activity with a small number of internal accounts and upon review, we discovered one account had been used to view source code in a number of source code repositories,” Microsoft said in the press release.
