Moderna: 100M vaccine doses by end of March
Moderna Inc. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stephane Bancel asserted on Tuesday the company’s goal was to produce 100 million doses of its vaccine against COVID-19 by the end of March.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Bancel noted the firm was “well on track” to deliver the aforementioned number of shots in the first 100 days of United States President-elect Joe Biden’s tenure as head of state, in accordance with “the president’s goal.”
Earlier this month, Bancel stated Moderna’s vaccine should be effective against new variants of coronavirus, originating from the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa.
