More than 2.8M people voted early in Georgia
Data from Georgia showed on Thursday more than 2.8 million people voted early in the runoff election for the United States Senate.
The election, which will determine whether the Democrat party will control both the chambers of Congress, is set to take place on January 5.
Media reported that polling data shows that the Dems are outpacing Republicans in early voting turnout.
