Oil rises 1% ahead of OPEC+ meeting
Crude futures climbed more than 1% on Monday as investors awaited the meeting of OPEC and its allies.
According to media reports, major oil producers are expected to confirm the agreement to increase production by 400,000 barrels per day in February.
Brent for settlements in March jumped 1.23% to go for $78.74 per barrel at 4:35 am ET and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for February delivery rose 1.09% to go for $76.03 at 4:32 am ET.
