Peskov praises move to remove Nord Stream sanctions
The United States decision to waive sanctions against several major companies involved in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is a “positive signal” for Moscow-Washington relations, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov (pictured) stated on Thursday.
Additionally, the official said that the meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his American counterpart Antony Blinken was “constructive.”
Commenting on the potential meeting between the two countries’ leaders, Peskov asserted that Kremlin will “analyze” the recent developments before making a decision on whether to organize the encounter.
