Russia registers 9,623 new COVID-19 cases
Russian authorities reported on Saturday the number of confirmed new cases of COVID-19 rose by 9,623 in the past 24 hours. Since the beginning of the outbreak, a total of 124,054 cases were registered.
In the same period, 53 people died from the infection, with the overall death toll now standing at 1,222.
Additional 1793 people have been successfully treated for the virus since yesterday, bringing the number of recovered to 15,013.
