Russia reports 16,048 new virus cases, fewest since October
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by 16,048 in the past 24 hours in Russia, bringing the country’s total coronavirus infections to 3,967,281, the Health Ministry unveiled on Sunday. The daily growth in virus cases was at its lowest since October 22.
Meanwhile, Russia registered another 432 fatalities caused by the virus to reach a total of 76,661.
According to the official data, 3,456,210 people across the country have successfully recovered from the disease since the outbreak kicked off, while Russia has carried out over 104 million tests for the virus so far.
