Saudi forces intercept two drones targeting Abha airport
The Saudi-led coalition stated on Sunday that it shot down two drones launched by the Houthis. Local media reported the drones were headed toward the Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
The incident follows an attack by the Yemeni group last week, in which a number of ballistic missiles and armed drones were launched on Saudi targets. The Houthis claimed they were attacking “sensitive and important sites” in Abha, Jizan, and Najran.
