UK registers 18,262 new COVID cases, 828 deaths
The British health officials registered 18,262 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, which brought the country’s total tally to 3,929,835.
The number of people who died after having contracted the illness climbed to 112,092 after 828 newly registered COVID fatalities.
Both the number of cases and the number of deaths dropped by more than 20% on a weekly level, along with the number of people admitted to a hospital, the data showed.
