US shares trim losses in premarket trade
Shares on Wall Street trimmed losses in premarket trade on Wednesday after dipping earlier in the day.
Stocks rallied during the previous session only to erase gains at the end of trading. Meanwhile, confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the United States surpassed 400,000, while in Europe, finance ministers struggled to agree on a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Dow Jones was up 0.19% at 6:40 am ET. At the same time, the S&P 500 was up 0.05% while the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.20%.
