WH to offer Pelosi $1.8 trillion stimulus bill – report
United States President Donald Trump agreed on a coronavirus stimulus relief bill worth $1.8 trillion that was put together by his administration, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is expected to present the bill to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi soon.
Earlier, Trump said talks were moving along well and White House advisor Larry Kudlow confirmed Trump approved a deal without giving information on the number. House Democrats have been asking the White House to keep the stimulus bill at over $2 trillion.
