Xi: Chinese economy is steadily picking up
The Chinese economy is recovering from the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic at a steady pace, the country’s President Xi Jinping asserted on Wednesday.
In his speech at the China Global Trade Expo, Xi stressed that the “pandemic has caused instability and uncertainty, and put the countries, including China, to the top test.”
He called upon the developed countries to “come together and embrace openness” as the most effective way to recover from the crisis, rather than “throwing punches and slandering each other.”
