Afghanistan to make West change its approach – Putin
The way that the situation in Afghanistan is unfolding is likely to make the Western countries change their approach in regard to their foreign policies, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.
Putin addressed the press after his meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, claiming that the outcome of the United State’s mission in Kabul “can’t really be called a success,” and adding that the “West is realizing you can’t impose on others your standards of political behavior.”
“This is the revelation that needs to become a part of the guidelines that the West will use when dealing with other countries,” Putin concluded.
