DoJ probing consulting firm for Burisma work – report
The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) is probing Blue Star Strategies, a consulting firm that worked with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma when Hunter Biden (pictured) served on its board, Politico reported on Thursday.
The Delaware Attorney’s Office, which is also looking into President Joe Biden’s son for potential tax violations, is working together with the DoJ National Security Division’s investigation, the newspaper said, noting, however, there is no indication Hunter is the target of the Blue Star probe.
The US president previously expressed confidence that his son didn’t do anything wrong in regards to the corruption accusations.
