India adds 311,834 COVID cases, 4,077 deaths
India’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry said on Saturday that 311,834 people across the country tested positive for the coronavirus over the past 24 hours.
The figure brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 24,684,077.
The number of virus-related deaths jumped by 4,077 to 270,284, while recoveries reached 20,795,335, rising by 362,437 from the previous update.
