Military leaders slam ‘sedition and insurrection’ at Capitol
The United States military’s top generals condemned on Tuesday last week’s acts of “sedition and insurrection” at the US Capitol.
According to the statement, United States President-elect Joe Biden will be confirmed as the 46th commander in chief of the armed forces on January 20.
Pentagon characterized the violent riots as “a direct assault on the US Congress, the Capitol building and the Constitutional process, ” and said that all chiefs of staff “support and defend the Constitution.”
