Trump: Obama, Biden did nothing for US workers
United States President Donald Trump accused on Thursday the administration of former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden doing “nothing to protect” American workers and “tying up” the country in a “globalist debacle.”
“On the question of foreign trade previous leaders were guided by a shameful policy of capitulation, submission, and retreat. For decades you’ve watched as politicians let foreign nations steal our jobs, loot our factories, and plunder the crown jewel of the US economy,” he said.
Trump also accused the previous administration of purchasing foreign-made products with “a sole purpose” of driving American workers “out of business” and selling the products by a “double, triple, quadruple price.”
