US stocks mixed premarket ahead of earnings
Shares on Wall Street traded mixed during the premarket session on Wednesday with three of the six largest companies in the United States by market cap, Apple, Facebook and Tesla, set to report their quarterly results after today’s closing bell. Also, investors are waiting for the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and monetary policy comments by Chairman Jerome Powell.
The Dow Jones was down by 0.17% at 4:30 am ET. At the same time, the S&P 500 stood flat while the Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.50%.
The euro slid 0.35% versus the dollar, selling for 1.21227 at 4:29 am ET.
